Pressrelease: Trademart sells home & living &go to TICA

The ‘home & living &go’ cash & carry centre providing decoration and interior products for professionals, which occupies 10,000 m² in the Trademart building, opened its doors in March 2021 and has since experienced strong growth. To accelerate this positive growth trend, it was decided to transfer the operation to a strategic partner.

TICA is a successful business with several cash-and-carry outlets in the Netherlands. Expanding into central Belgium is a logical next step for TICA. The sale, effective immediately, is in line with BITM's strategic plans to further focus on its core business and achieve growth through new and innovative projects, among other things.

For more than 45 years, Trademart has been the place where retail professionals and brands come together. The 200,000m² shopping centre at the foot of the Atomium in Brussels, brings more than 1,500 brands under one roof in Fashion, Baby & kids and Home & Living.

With more than 800,000 items from over 450 leading brands and 5 branches in Europe, TICA offers a unique shopping experience for professional buyers. At the branches TICA Aalsmeer, TICA Venlo, the TICA Concept Store in Venlo, TICA Ede as well as the new branch, TICA Brussels, all products can be purchased by the piece, allowing TICA members to manage their stock flexibly and tailor-made.
